Byju’s vs BCCI: NCLT to hear case on Jan 17
The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) Bengaluru has scheduled the hearing of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)’s plea against troubled edtech giant Byju’s case for January 17.
The BCCI has sought initiation of insolvency proceedings against Byju’s over alleged unpaid dues of Rs 158 crore under their sponsorship contract for the Indian cricket team. The NCLT Bengaluru has classified the case as a high-profile matter.
The BCCI, however, has rejected the company’s claims.
