TeamLease EdTech, IIT Patna and NSDC collaborate to boost national graduate employability

TeamLease EdTech, the Indian Institute of Technology Patna, and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) formalised their collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This partnership aims to expedite the creation of large-scale, innovative learning programmes focused on enhancing employability. The key objective is to offer work-linked hybrid degree programmes to all students aspiring to graduate from the prestigious institution, thereby augmenting their value in the eyes of employers, according to an official release.
“NSDC has been taking several steps in the direction of improving employability and skill building. This new category of work-embedded programmes shall go a long way in improving the employability of the youth of the country by bringing IIT brand excellence to workplaces,” Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC, said.
“TeamLease EdTech’s sole vision is to help improve graduate employability across the country by creating accessible learning and education solutions while tackling the difficult trinity of cost, quality and scale. Through our collaboration with IIT Patna and NSDC, we are all set to launch these transformative programmes that will make higher education in India more employable and purposeful,” Shantanu Rooj, CEO, founder, TeamLease EdTech, said.Furthermore, TeamLease EdTech claims that by passing these programmes, every learner across the country can obtain an IIT Degree alongside an experience certificate from their employer. Even current graduating students can enrol in these programmes to earn dual degrees.

Our partnership with TeamLease EdTech and NSDC will help us design, develop and deliver a new category of immersive hybrid programmes that help provide the learners with high-quality academics and the necessary work-experience,” T.
