iQOO has launched the iQOO Neo 9 series in China, per schedule. There are two phones— iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro— with the largely the same specs and design. But what’s striking is the asking price. The iQOO Neo 9 brings Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for under Rs 30,000 while the iQOO Neo 9 Pro gets you the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 at around Rs 35,000. Clearly, iQOO is going for the kill after the iQOO 12 launch hitting nothing but gold when it comes to value proposition. Buzz has it that the iQOO Neo 9 could be heading to India soon in which case, we can expect it to clash with the upcoming OnePlus 12R.iQOO Neo 9 Pro, iQOO Neo 9 China prices

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro comes in a choice of 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB for CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 36,250), CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs 40,000), CNY 3,599 (roughly Rs 42,500) and CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs 47,000), respectively.

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 9300 and runs Android 14-based OriginOS 4 right out of the gate. You get up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS4.0 storage in this phone alongside Vivo’s proprietary Q1 chip to seemingly enhance gaming performance.

Flip over to the front and you’ll find a 6.78-inch 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and up to 1,400 nits of peak brightness and HDR10+ playback support. The screen is also getting wet hand control that essentially allows the phone to be usable when wet (either rain or sweat). Biometrics are handled by an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Around the back, you get a dual camera setup with a 50-megapixel wide and another 50-megapixel ultrawide. Apparently, the sensors are the same as the one on the Vivo X100. The Neo 9 Pro also has a 16-megapixel camera for selfies.

Rounding off the package is a 5,160mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

The iQOO Neo 9 is the Neo 9 Pro with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and an 8-megapixel ultrawide instead of 50MP.
