India Weather Update: Prolonged cold wave in Northern India! Frosty nights await Himalayan regions, check full forecast here Cold wave conditions are likely to continue in parts of northern India including Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, and in isolated pockets of Uttar Pradesh & Rajasthan on January 10 and 11, India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast mentioned.Continuing the spell of foggy mornings, dense fog conditions are likely to prevail during morning hours in isolated pockets of northwest India including Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Tripura during the next 4-5 days. Hilly regions like the Jammu division, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand will also witness fog conditions on January 11 and 12. As per the weather forecast agency, the temperature will likely fall by 2-3°C over many parts of central & east India during the next 3-4 days.Meanwhile, ground frost conditions are likely in hilly regions like Uttarakhand and Himlayan on January 11 and 12. Besides, isolated hailstorm activity was also reported over northwest Madhya Pradesh (Bhind & Gwalior). Due to a cyclonic circulation over the east equatorial Indian Ocean, light to moderate rainfall at some places is very likely over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, and Lakshadweep during the next 2 days.

FII and DII trades: Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) have been net buyers of domestic stocks for successive days now. On Wednesday, FIIs pumped in Rs 2,347 crore. Domestic Institutional Investors (DII) have been net sellers, pulling out Rs 510 crore yesterday.
